Convert PNG to JPG

Many forms accept only JPG. Drop a PNG, WebP or screenshot and download a JPG of the same size, with transparent areas filled white.

Files stay on your device, never uploaded

Changes apply automatically, including to a file you've already added.

  • Format: JPG

What changes

The width and height stay the same. JPG has no transparency, so transparent areas become white, which is what forms expect for signatures and photos. The JPG is usually much smaller than the PNG.

Size limits

If your form has a KB limit, set it and the JPG is compressed to fit. Otherwise the image is saved at high quality.

FAQ

Why won't the portal accept my PNG?

Many government portals only accept JPG or JPEG files for photos and signatures. Converting fixes that; the picture looks the same.

Is JPEG the same as JPG?

Yes. They're two names for the same format, and portals accept either.
