Why photo uploads get rejected
- The file is bigger than 100 KB. Phone photos are usually 2–5 MB, so they always need compressing.
- The image isn't about 3.5 × 4.5 cm. Cropping by hand often leaves it a few pixels off.
- It's saved as the wrong format: the portal accepts JPG. iPhone HEIC photos and screenshots saved as PNG are common mistakes.
- The background isn't plain white. A tool can't fix a coloured wall or a shadow; retake it against a white wall in good light.
